Iasi is one of the oldest city in Romania. It’s located in Provence of Moldova, being the most important political, economic and cultural centre of the region. Between 1859 and 1862 Iasi was actually the capital of Romania. An interesting fact about Iasi is that it hosts more than 100 Orthodox churches.
